Munnar Highlights : Hill Stationsr, “Eravikulam National Park, world's highest tea estates, Kundala Dam Thekkady(Periyar) Highlights : Spice Plantation & Elephant safari, Motorboat ride at Periyar Lake to watch the wildlife at Periyar Tour Itinerary :- Day 01: Cochin - Munnar (140 kms/4hrs) On Arrival at Cochin, you will be welcomed by our Company representative and transfer to Munnar. After reaching Munnar check in your pre-booked hotel. Overnight stay at Munnar. Day0 2: In Munnar In the morning, after breakfast proceed for Munnar sightseeing which includes Mattupetty Lake & Dam, Echo Point, Kundale Lake, Rajamalai and Eravikulam Wildlife Sanctuary famous for the Nilgiri Tahr and tea gardens. Return to hotel in the evening for overnight stay Day 03: Munnar – Thekkady/Periyar (120 kms/3hrs) After breakfast check-out from hotel & get transferred to Thekkady. En route visit the panoramic Western Ghat hills covered with spice plantations and an occasional view of waterfalls and streams, several types of spice plantations like cardamom, vanilla, pepper, cinnamon and clove. Reach Thekkady & check-inn at the pre-booked hotel Day 04: Thekkady After breakfast at hotel proceed for boating on the Periyar Lake (at own cost) and experience a view of Periyar Lake and sanctuary. Watch different wild animals while boating. Rest of the day at leisure. Day 05: Thekkady-Cochin Morning after breakfast get driven to Cochin airport / Railway station for onward journey.
