Spicy Kerala Tour (5 Nights - 6 Days)
Munnar Highlights : Hill Stationsr, “Eravikulam National Park, world's highest tea estates, Kundala Dam Alleppey Highlights : Cruising houseboat Kovalam Highlights : Padhamanabha Swamy temple, Museum, Horse Palace and Art Gallery, Kovalam Beach Tour Itinerary : Day 1 Cochin – Munnar (by Road 185kms approx) Arrive Cochin Our representative will receive you on arrival at Cochin Airport/ Railway station get driven to Munnar and en-route visit the famous Athirampally Waterfalls. Reach Munnar and check in at a pre booked hotel. Rest of the day will be for leisure and relaxing. Stay overnight at the hotel. Day 2 Munnar This day after breakfast, Half-Day Visit To Tea Gardens.Then Visit Rajamalai to see the NIlgiri Tahrs, Mattupetty where boating facility is available, The Echo-point, Kundale for boating in Shikara type of boats. Visit Munnar town for shopping. The must buy stuff is tea & spices here. Evening will be free for leisure activities. Stay overnight at the hotel. Day 3 Munnar – Alleppey (by road 168 kms) After breakfast, check out of the hotel/resort and drive to Allepey. Arrive & check in at a houseboat. The house boat will be fully furnished with single and double bedrooms, sundeck, private balcony and a kitchen. It also comprises a chef, Oarsmen & cabin assistant. The materials that go into the making are all local and Eco friendly bamboo poles, coconut fiber ropes, bamboo mats, coir carpets etc. Enjoy your day on the cruising houseboat which will take you to various locations. Cruise along the placid lake and enjoy the panoramic views of the paddy fields, narrow canals and coconut lagoons. Cruising through this serene backwater will give you a taste of the lifestyle of an average Keralite, also have a glimpse of the fishing communities as you drift along the backwaters. The house boat will cruise through a number of canals including Azhikkal Canal, Kuppapuram, Pallathuruthy, Swamy Canal, Meenapally Kayal, Muttael Canal , Kainakary Church Canal , Vatta Kayal, Venattukadu Canal , Aakkathara Canal. Overnight stay will be on the houseboat. Day 4 : Alleppey to Kovalam (by road 170 kms) Check out time form Houseboat is 10:00 A.M. After check out transfer to Kovalam (170 Kms and 5 Hrs drives). On arrival check in at Hotel. Afternoon sightseeing: Padhamanabha Swamy temple, Museum, Horse Palace and Art Gallery. Evening you will be free at Kovalam Beach. Overnight at Hotel. Day 5: Kovalam The days will be free for personal activities. Spend your day at leisure on the picturesque white sandy beaches of Kovalam. Stay overnight at the hotel. Day 6 : Kovalam - Trivendrum (by road 15 Kms) After breakfast drive back to Trivendrum. Transfer you to airport/ railway station for your further destination. End of Spicy Kerala Tour Packages. |
